Our founder, Julie Crimmins, started her career in the building industry in 1990 working in Sales for Santa Fe Homes. She had found her passion! She quickly became the top sales asset and began learning all she could about the construction process. Before long she branched out on her own and in 1993 she started Manchester Custom Homes.

The focus for Julie was pretty simple, to stand out by providing a better building experience and more amenities at a better price.

The company would go on to build homes in Tarrant, Johnson, and Parker Counties. Within a few years, the City of Fort Worth approached her to help revitalize several neighborhoods and Vision Homes was born. In 1997 she was featured on the cover of Builder Architect Magazine and was elected to the Certified Master Builder Board.

In 2001 the needs of her family required some changes so she turned her eye to real estate and joined Century 21. Her dedication quickly found her reaching a high level of success earning Top Producer in her office from her first year along with the Quality Service award.

For the next 12 years, Julie was awarded the Quality Service and Pinnacle Quality Service Award every year in the business. She was recognized as a CENTURION Agent a staggering 6 times and was twice awarded the distinguished President’s Award, the highest honor bestowed by the Century 21 System.

In 2013 she was ready to return to her passion and joined Graham Hart Home Builder as the Purchasing Director where she ushered in a new system for building construction budgets, managing costs, and improving profitability. When the company began some restructuring she realized it was time once again branch out.

In 2014 with a business partner 2CB Builders, LLC was established. Quickly it was discovered that there was a need to take on a new challenge and began land development forming Manchester Development, LLC.

Their first project was a 45 - lot subdivision in Historic Mansfield where they developed the land and built the homes. The company became successful very quickly. While managing the day to day operations of the business and working with Sales, Construction, Accounting, and Purchasing, Julie authored a construction system manual that reads like “Residential Construction Business for Dummies” to keep all of the employees working in sync and avoiding errors that are costly for companies and buyers.

In 2018 Julie sold the business to her partner to go back to custom home building with her son Nick. Crimmins Construction, LLC was formed. The one thing that is apparent today is after 30+ years her dedication to the buyer experience and exceptional features at an incredible price is still at the center of every decision made by her company.
